The Sacred Mushroom, un groupe de rock psychédélique et blues de Cincinnati, Ohio, a connu un bref succès à la fin des années 1960. Fondé par les frères Larry et Tim Goshorn, ils vivaient en communauté sous le nom des “Mushroom People”. Malgré des performances live marquantes, leurs ventes de disques furent limitées. Leur unique album, The Sacred Mushroom (1966), précéda leur séparation, laissant un héritage culte encore célébré aujourd’hui.

The Sacred Mushroom, a bluesy rock/psych band from Cincinnati, Ohio, thrived briefly in the late 1960s. Formed by brothers Larry and Tim Goshorn, they lived communally as the “Mushroom People.” Despite strong live performances, they struggled with record sales. Their only album, The Sacred Mushroom (1966), followed a single released on Minaret Records. Shortly after, they disbanded, leaving behind a cult legacy still honored today.
