Charly Records présente la toute première réédition de Free The Black Man’s Chains, une street-opera gospel culte de New York et le projet le plus ambitieux du label GSF. Issu de singles de 1971 du mystérieux Broad Street Gang, l’album met en vedette des musiciens de renom comme Daryl Hall, Bobby Eli et The Raelettes. Malgré un fort potentiel multimédia, un manque de promotion l’a condamné à l’oubli. Peu après, GSF a fermé, laissant cette puissante Black Opera méconnue… jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Vinyle en édition limitée MARBRÉ NOIR & BLANC.

Charly Records presents the first-ever reissue of Free The Black Man’s Chains, a cult New York gospel street opera and GSF label’s most ambitious project. Rooted in 1971 singles by the mysterious Broad Street Gang, the album featured top musicians like Daryl Hall, Bobby Eli, and The Raelettes. Despite its potential for multi-media expansion, poor promotion led to its obscurity. GSF folded shortly after, leaving this powerful Black opera largely forgotten—until now. Limited edition in BLACK & WHITE MARBELED vinyl.
