Le groupe The Georgia Prophets, formé en 1965 à Augusta (Géorgie), sort son unique album Fever en 1968, porté par le titre mythique "I Got The Fever", devenu un classique de la scène Northern Soul au Royaume-Uni et de la Beach Music aux États-Unis. L’album, mélange de nouvelles chansons et d’enregistrements antérieurs, marque la fin du groupe. Cette réédition mondiale propose le disque pour la première fois en CD, avec des titres bonus et des notes de Kev Roberts. ----------------------------------------------
The Georgia Prophets, formed in 1965 in Augusta, Georgia, released their only album Fever in 1968, driven by the legendary track "I Got The Fever," which became a classic of the Northern Soul scene in the UK and of Beach Music in the US. The album, a blend of new songs and earlier recordings, marked the end of the band. This worldwide reissue offers the album for the first time on CD, with bonus tracks and liner notes by Kev Roberts.
