Wigan Casino, the legendary temple of Northern Soul, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Against the backdrop of the tough 1970s, this venue offered young people an escape and shaped a lasting musical subculture. Every Saturday, all-nighters gathered the faithful around the founding DJs.
