Gene Townsel’, chanteur et coach vocal reconnu originaire de Los Angeles, a sorti en 1978 son album Time Wounds All Heels, devenu culte auprès des collectionneurs de soul. Enregistré au Gold Star Studios, cet album contient des perles du Northern Soul comme “I’m Walking Away”. Pédagogue et philanthrope, Gene a fondé plusieurs initiatives artistiques et sociales. Gene Townsel, a renowned singer and vocal coach from Los Angeles, released his album Time Wounds All Heels in 1978, which has since become a cult favorite among soul collectors. Recorded at Gold Star Studios, the album features Northern Soul gems like “I’m Walking Away.” A dedicated educator and philanthropist, Gene founded several artistic and social initiatives. This reissue on 140g black vinyl by Charly Records finally offers a chance to rediscover this rare and timeless masterpiece.
